Steve Hill and Hill Heating & Air did an amazing job on our new furnace and air conditioning system. The products that he put in were a premium quality and his service and installation were a very high standard and quality. I would say Hill Heating & Air is of the best. The pricing that Steve gave us on our system was the best I could find and was very fair. He was very willing to give us the best deal out there. We had our high efficiency system put in at the beginning of the summer and it has worked flawlessly and has pumped out more cold air than we could expect and has saved us money on our utility bill compared to previous months. It has made our house very comfortable during this especially hot summer. He also helped and directed us in getting the rebates we qualified for with the power/gas companies. I would give him 5 stars and refer him to anyone I know.

Fantastic man who does quality work!! I also happen to know him on a personal level and it isn't just at his job that he takes his time. He loves his wife and children as well. I couldn't possibly recommend this man more!!

We needed to relocate our furnace and A/C. Steve came out and bid us the following day and did an amazing job, excellent communication, always showed up when he said he would and got the job done fast! I would highly recommend Steve for any HVAC needs.
- Andrew J.
Steve was easy to work with and came over quickly. He is very friendly and knows what he is doing. I would trust him with any job. He was very fair.

Had Steve of Hill Heating & Air come out to check my air conditioner for the season last week. I was very impressed with his service. He gave me an estimated price & time frame for servicing both mine & a family member's air conditioner on the same day. He showed up right on time, was able to finish up with me even a bit early, addressed all my concerns & questions, and charged me exactly what I was quoted by him, with a senior discount even!
- Mike R.
Always quick to respond. Best prices around. I can't imagine anyone else doing half as good a job as him! Replaced my furnace in record time and beat the prices of everyone else. Then 2 years replaced my AC and again beat all other prices.

"If there is one thing I liked the most about the work Steve did, it would be the craftsmanship. There are two types of people in the world of contract work; Those who do the job the way it gets done the fastest and the cheapest, and those who take their work as an extension of the life they embody. Steve is one of those people who seems to take his work a step further, in to the realm of art. His work was meticulous, precise, and fair. I enjoyed the detail offered in the quote He provided, which was very competitive for the market. I liked the clean way He did the work, and the professional atmosphere He personified while on the job. He was friendly, positive and obviously very happy with His chosen profession."

"Steve Hill installed a new furnace, central air conditioner and a humidifier for us. This was all part of a major remodel we just completed. I would and have referred Steve to anyone who would and has asked about a good HVAC person. The first thing I tell people is that He will not leave your home in a mess. He cleans up after himself. He is dependable, very conscientious and honest. He cares about the job he is performing. When he is working for you, you are the important one. If you question him about what he is doing, he will explain it and why it is the best way, but if you have an idea you like better he will listen to you and talk thru it with you. Steve will be returning to our home to install an attic fan as we no longer need our swamp cooler. He will also be installing our custom made stove hood. Steve is a very fun guy, he likes to laugh, sing and will sit right down and even eat lunch with you. We have known Steve for about 8 years. His appearance is always neat and clean, yes, I think that says a lot about a person. Give Steve a try, you won't be sorry."

"Last winter when we were experiencing furnace problems, my sister referred to us her "furnace guy" Steve Hill, whom she has relied on for several years. We were so pleased with the quality of Steve's furnace repair work that we also had him install a humidifier, electrostatic filter, and most recently, central air. Steve is reliable, efficient, and offers very competitive rates. And now I am happy to say that Steve is our "furnace guy" as well."

"Steve Hill is an outstanding heating/air conditioning technician. Steve's initial assessment of our central air conditioning requirements was completely accurate. He installed our central air, temperature regulated attic fan, furnace with humidity control and an electronic thermostat. Steve's sheet metal work is very professional and the overall quality of his work is the best that I've seen. We've had our central air for over 9 years now and haven't had any problems with it. Steve is very customer oriented and has followed up with us over the years to ensure that our central air is working properly. I would like to recommend his work to anyone who is looking for high quality heating and/or air conditioning work."
- Dane & Diane, Ogden
"We are very happy with the job Steve Hill did installing our central air. He is honest, reliable, reasonable rates and good to work with. You couldn't find a better guy to work with than Steve Hill. We would like to recommend him to everyone."

"In the Summer of 2003, I contracted Steve Hill to install a new furnace, air conditioner, humidifier and electrostatic air filter in my home. He first gave me a bid that was 4 to 600 dollars less than my closest bid. He told me how long it would take and he finished on time. His craftsmanship is 2nd to none. I take pride in my home and only want professionals to work on or in it. Steve Hill is that professional. I am very pleased with his work, his craftsmanship, his integrity and his honesty. He is and always will be my Heating/AC person."
- Russ & Julie,Kearns

We will definitely call upon their services in the future and recommend them to anyone. Thanks again to Hill Heating & Air."

The placement of your HVAC unit is crucial for optimal efficiency and performance. Factors such as the home's layout, proximity to windows and walls, and ventilation options are considered to ensure the unit operates effectively and quietly.
A standard HVAC installation usually takes 4 to 8 hours depending on the complexity of the system and the specific requirements of your home. More involved projects, such as those requiring ductwork adjustments, might take several days.
Before a maintenance or repair visit, ensure the area around your HVAC unit is clear of any obstructions to provide easy access for technicians. It’s also helpful to note any changes in the unit’s performance or unusual noises to inform the technician.
Not all HVAC components are universally compatible. Factors like the age of your existing system, the brand, and specific model features need to be considered. It’s important to consult with a professional to ensure new components will function properly with your current setup.
Yes, systems such as ductless mini-splits are ideal for older homes without existing ductwork. These systems provide efficient heating and cooling and can be installed with minimal disruption to the existing structure.
Multi-story homes may require zoning systems or additional units to evenly distribute air and maintain a consistent temperature throughout. Balancing the system to ensure efficient airflow on all floors is also critical.
Seasonal changes can impact your HVAC system’s efficiency; for instance, transitions from warm to cold weather require switching from cooling to heating, which may stress the system. Seasonal maintenance is recommended to ensure the system adjusts properly and operates at peak efficiency.
Good insulation reduces the workload on your HVAC system by stabilizing your home's internal temperature. This means your system can achieve the desired temperature more easily, enhancing efficiency and reducing wear and tear over time.
